From May in 2008, WeeklyAkibaWords has introduced slangs and words that are like symbols of Akiba from the holy city, Akiba.

Slangs I introduced are used by Otaku in Akiba or 2-channelers. It began from Moe, and I only have introduced a part of Akihabaran slangs. But, today is the last day of WeeklyAkibaWords- I have to say Sayonara to you.

Why? Yes, that is… right. That's because "Otona no Jijyou."

"Heaven Jyoutai"-- This is the expression of being extremely pleasant like being in heaven.

Before we knew, "Heaven Jyoutai" was infiltrated in Akiba.

Of course, from the word, we are able to understand the meaning, but in 2ch, the number of Ascii Art (AA) of "Heaven Jyoutai" has increased every single day. How come it became that popular?

TenBuyer is a reseller. TenBuyer is a nonce word of "Tenbai" (転売 = resale) & "Buyer" (バイヤー). They are the ones who buy lots of would-be-sold-out products and resell them on Yahoo Auction, on the street, or used shops. Of course, normal fans hate them. In Akiba, many TenBuyers gather. The release day of popular products that are in short supply is like a war between fans and TenBuyers.

Chuni-Byo (中二病). That is a terrible disease. And every single person, yes, including you, came down with the disease. Even though this disease exists in the whole world, in recent years, it was finally found out in Japan. Symptoms are different for each person, and a cause is unknown. We just need to wait until it is cured spontaneously. And few people continue to have the disease even though they get adults.

2-channel (2ちゃんねる) is a haunt of Japanese Netizen (Network Citizen). You guys have heard the name, haven't you? Today, I'm gonna introduce roughly about the 2-channel that is closely related to Akiba and continue to be related with Akiba. 2-channel (2ちゃんねる) is a world-wide communication site created in Japan (so it is written in Japanese). In there, the whole information about internet –both good and bad things- is written. And, everything about Japanese Otaku of today is written on 2-ch.

You guys love Oppai, right? Yes! Oppai! Well, which part of Oppai do you like? The whole part? I know, the whole part is good, huh. But I think what is good about Oppai is Tanima (谷間) -the cleavage of breasts-. Oh yes, Oppai that don't have Tanima should not be called Oppai. Oppai start with Tanima and finish with Tanima. Viva Tanima!

Nendoroid (ねんどろいど) is the series of character figures of anime and games. The most noticeable characteristic of it is its size- it's really small. Nendoid is made by a mysterious group of molding artists called "Nendoron." Figures made by them are well made regardless of its size: it's carefully made and they are really cute. Nendoroid comes with plenty of accessories among figures, and it's really popular. The fact is that since Nendoroid appeared in 2006, the total of 50 kinds of figures have released, and the cumulative total number Nendoron sold already reached 500,000. It is really popular that whenever new Nendoroid comes out, it's already gone in Akiba.

Do you like girls who wear glasses (Megane: メガネ)? Not only Nekomimi (cat's ears), but also, everybody walks on this Moe road -Megane-. That is called Megane Suki (love glasses). Last week was Nekomimi (ネコミミ), and this week is Meganekko (メガネ娘)? You wanna say how come I continue to tell you such a basic Moe? Well, basic is basic, after all. We can't run away from it. Already, let's be completely "done" by Meganekko together!!!

Nekomimi (ネコミミ = cats' ears) has been the King of Moe for a long time. Nowadays, there are so many new Moe elements- so-called "new genre" - have created (?), but in the old days, when cute girls put Nekomimi (ネコミミ), guys went crazy.

There are so many stores in Akiba: stores of eroge, doujin, figures, anime, games, DVD, PC, home electronics, etc. The number of stores is uncountable. Thus, in order to compete with competitors, stores come up with original ideas such as collecting lots of products, collecting rare products, reducing prices of products, providing different kinds of services, etc. So, a war between stores has continued to intensify. In that kind of business world, in Akiba, Yoyaku Tokuten (予約特典: bonus products customers get if they make preorders) for eroge is used as a mean to get customers.

Today is an extra issue again! I do have a reason for that. Have you checked ErogeShop already? Looking at the number of products at ErogeShop, we can say that the store is just for AkibaBlog fans, isn't it? Fans of characters have been enjoying Cosplay, so, it's nothing new to talk about Cosplay… don't you guys think? Be honest, I was thinking exactly like that. BUT, here is Akiba. It's a bit different from other places.

What is going on when girls do something secret?-- a situation that shows up in derivative work frequently, this or that of girls… If those girls are just normal lesbians, it's too plane and lame- boring. So, the result of coming out from the situation is "Futanari."

Wotagei is a performance of Otaku people. Until a vehicle-free street in Akihabara was closed due to the deadly stabbing spree happened ( Akihabara Vehicle-free Street: Under Suspension ), different kinds of Wotagei were performed on the street of Akiba. Nowadays, since a vehicle-free street has been closed, there is no place to perform Wotagei, so we are not able to see it in Akiba.

Do you guys know what is "Ahoge"??? You see characters in anime or manga whose hair is popping out from the top. A lock of hair popping out is called "Ahoge."

In the next week (from August 15th), the biggest doujin event, Comic Market 2008 Summer (Comike 74) will be held. For that, I'm sure every doujin circle is really busy right now. I'm so sorry for fans (especially fans in foreign countries) who can not join Comike. But don't worry guys! There are many stores in Akiba that let you get doujin products. "Hadaka Apron" is as the word says, a naked lady wearing an Apron- ONLY an Apron (Hadaka = Naked). In Japan, this has been an erotic costume for a long time.

Is there any patient of "Kugimiya Disease"? "Kugimiya Disease" is also called "Kugimiya Virus Hypersensitive Cerebral Corticalitis." I have no idea why such difficult words are used. Anyway, people who have been gotten by Kugimiya are called "Patients of Kugimiya Disease."

Maid Café became popular not only in Akihabara or in Japan! Now, the first Maid Café in LA, LOYAL/T, celebrated its opening. Of course, there are a lot of Maid Café in the holy city Akihabara. I mean, A LOT. It's a kind of Café that waitresses wear maid costumes and give different kinds of services. In a ward, it's a Moe amusement park Café?

What a bold car! Is it real? Does somebody drive such a car? I know you think like that. Some cars in the game like "Forza2" (Xbox360) are amazingly painted by an artisan, but that only happens in the game world. If you really have such a car, you are unable to drive around; just to park it at your house would be shameful for you, right? We call those cars "Itasha." Itasha literally means "Painful Car" (Itai=painful). But for this situation, "Itai" is used to describe something pitiful, pathetic, awkward, hideous, or ugly although it is supposed to mean hurt or painful.

What's up guys! As you know, on a vehicle-free street, there are many cosplayers who do cosplay for both advertisement and for just fun (hobby). And many non-cosplayers also visit Akiba for those cosplayers. One group of people and who are very special among visitors in Akihabara are "Low Anglers." I'm gonna introduce about them this time!

Nagato is "Ore no Yome!" (my wife). Yes, "Ore no Yome" is a word that explains the best of the best love for your favorite character. It's an expression of love- you love the character as much as you want to marry her. But there is no meaning of controlling her or not to let anybody touch her.

What's up, guys! It's time to learn a new Akihabaran Slang. This week's word is "Tsundere." I know many of you already know what is Tsundere, but let me introduce it briefly. Tsundere is a word that expresses a type of character of a girl whose personality is Tsun & Dere.
