The Last Day of Comike 75: Doujin Shops in Akiba ～What a Sight～

In the past few years, the most people visited Comike on the last day of Winter Comike last year (2007). And at the last day of Winter Comike 2008, doujin shops was crowded the most. Toranoana 1st Branch, Melonbooks Akihabara, and Messe Sanoo 3rd Branch limited the number of people entering the stores. At Tora 1st Branch, people once lined up from the 1F to the 4F to enter the 4F, doujinshi floor for men (which mainly sells adult doujinshi).

Toranoana 1st Branch 4F (Mainly Sells Adult Doujinshi)

On the last day of Comic Market, it's normal that doujin shops such as Toranoana, Melonbooks, and Messe Sanoo are crowded since many people come to those shops to buy new doujinshi released for Comike. And this year, like the last day of Winter Comike 2007, Tora, Melon, and Messe limited the number of customers entering the stores.

At Toranoana 1st Branch, 4F and 5F got a limitation of people entering the floors; people once lined up from the 1F to the 4F to enter the 4F, doujinshi floor for men (which mainly sells adult doujinshi). I feel like its staff said it would take about an hour to enter the store. At Melonbooks Akihabara, a person who saw the line of people waiting to enter the store said "which SunCre it is!" Also, Messe 3rd Branch started to limit the number of people entering the store from around 3pm.

The number of participants on the last day of Winter Comike 2008 was about 190,000. A person in Tora 1st Branch said "the number of customers was almost same as last year."
