Comic Market 75: "Paper Bags of Comike" in Akihabara - A Recession Has a Harmful Influence

AkibaBlog

I'm gonna report about "Paper Bags came from Comike" I saw in Akiba on the 1st and 2nd days of Comic Market 75. Let me mention that I do not report the whole paper bags I saw in Akiba, and the number of photos is not proportional to frequency of paper bags I saw. Because of a recession (?), I felt like less people had lots of Comike paper bags this time. Also, I thought the number of huge Comike paper bags decreased.

Less People Had Lots of Comike Bags This Time

I'm gonna report about paper bags for Comike Winter 2008 like I reported about Comike held in the past: 2004 Winter, 2005 Summer, 2005 Winter, 2006 Summer, 2006 Winter, 2007 Summer, 2007 Winter and 2007 Summer . Pictures below show people who probably came to Akihabara after they visited Comike (on the first and second days of Comike). They have different kinds of paper bags.

My impression about the 1st and 2nd days of Winter Comike 2008 in Akihara were:

Like every year, I saw many paper bags of Navel and August

On the 2nd day, I saw different kinds of Toho paper bags

The number of huge Comike bags decreased (some makers that usually make a huge paper bag made it smaller this time)

Felt like I didn't see the huge size of Comike paper bags for Online Games

Seemed like the number of people who had lots of Comike paper bags decreased

By the way, the number of photos is not proportional to frequency of paper bags I saw. On top of that, I saw some paper bags only once and I didn't report some paper bags.

Not everybody in Akiba had Comike paper bags. In the early time, only few people had them. Around the time Comike finishes, the number of people with paper bags increased.
