Nintendo DS Dragon Quest 9, which was announced that being sold at a special discount price earlier in Akihabara, was released on the 1st. Dragon Quest 8 didn’t have a midnight sale, but since a midnight sale for a doujin shooting game was held, multiple stores in Akihabara held midnight sale for Dragon Quest 9, and more than 2,000 people gathered. Midnight sale for Nintendo DS RPG Dragon Quest 9, which said “keeping a starlit sky, don’t keep the release day,” was held on the 1st.

The main character of Dragon Quest 9 is a gal elf who has tanned face and blonde hair. Famitsu.com introduced: “the game was designed by Yuji Horii, music by Kouichi Sugiyama, character design by Akira Toriyama. Well-known members gathered,” “the biggest characteristic is by using wireless network, it is able to have a network. It’s an RPG game. With your friends, you can enjoy an adventure in Dragon Quest World.”

Since it announced about being sold at a special discount price earlier in Akihabara, and a midnight sale for a doujin shooting game was held, multiple stores such as Sofmap, Messe Sanoo, Toranoana, Gamers, Asobit, etc in Akihabara held midnight sale for Nintendo DS Dragon Quest 9.

I checked some stores out: customers gathered at Sofmap AM Branch the most- about 900. Next one was Sofmap PC Game Anime Branch- about 400 people lined up. The number of customers lining up was more than midnight sale for Fate/hollow ataraxia (October 2005) and ToHeart2 XRATED (December 2005). The total of about 2,000 people gathered in Akihabara.
