An event, SDF-1 Macross L.C. (Launching Ceremony), will be held in Akihabara on February 22nd (Sunday), and a stamp rally for getting its tickets began on the 7th. To join it, a person has to buy a poster that has a pasteboard for the stamp rally → purchase something at 3 stores from stores listed in here → then draw lots. At stores participated for the event, posters of the stamp rally were out, and I saw some people who got a stamp.

An event, SDF-1 Macross L.C. (Launching Ceremony), will be held in Akihabara on February 22nd (Sunday), and a stamp rally for getting its tickets began on the 7th.

To join it, a person has to buy a poster at 1,050yen that has a pasteboard for the stamp rally → purchase something at 3 stores from stores listed in here → then draw lots (then has to win!). At stores participated for the event, posters of the stamp rally were out, and I saw some people who got a stamp.

On the very first day, the 7th, 2,000 posters of “Macross that has a pasteboard for the stamp rally” were sold. At Tokyo Anime Center, 30 minutes before it was opened, more than 400 people were waiting, and they even had to wait another 2 hours to get the poster. For a lottery, a cosplayer of Sheryl was there as a staff member.

This event will be held in “February 2009” because in the story of “The Super Dimension Fortress Macross”, a ceremony to enter the space was held ( SDF-1 Macross flew to the space for the first time) in February 2009. In its event, a secret talk by Shoji Kawamori, Haruhiko Mikimoto, and Kazutaka Miyatake, a talk about an idea of “Macross F –the Movie” by Yuichi Nakamura (Alto), Aya Endo (Sheryl), Ai Nakajima (Ranka), Shoji Kawamori (director), etc, will be held (need a ticket to enter), and a ceremony for entering the space where people can experience the moment of SDF-1 Macross leaving to the space (in the 1st story of its anime) will be held (need a ticket to enter) [info by Akiba Keizai Shinbun].

The number of tickets for the ceremony and a talk show are 500/each, and since 10,000 posters for the stamp rally were out, the probability to be elected is 5%. On Yahoo Auction, about 70 (?) of the Macross Poster was out by the morning of the 8th, and a person who won the ticket for the talk show sells it at 38,000yen ( cash ).
