The first collection of pictures by Fumikane Shimada, " Shimada Fumikane -Artworks-" was released at the end of October, was sold out in a second at some stores in Akiba , and became No.1 selling book on Amazon . I have no idea if they were distributor's stock or came from other branches, but Tora sold it on the 6th. [p.s.] on the 7th, it was sold out.

Catchphrase of " Shimada Fumikane -Artworks-" was "the chief instigator of the mechanical-girl boom. The first collection of Fumikane Shimada! Illustrations published on books as well as treasured illustrations published on doujinshi, the total of about 200 precious illustrations are printed in this book!" A little less than half of the book (among the total of 110 pages) is related to Strike Witches: it includes illustrations of mechanical girls and interviews.

Inside the book is full of panties , and Triumph-taku_1981-san said "a feast of dazzling girls. That's what we expect from Fumikane! In many ways, it's full of 'close.'" Hibikanwa-san said "there is almost no illustration we don't see panties. Actually, we can say that it's a collection of panties!" Siz-san wrote "the area of (something like) panties is much more than the anime version w. Oh boy!"
