Nintendo DSi will be released on November 1st, and Makonako-san or diary-ZERO-san wrote "amazon.co.jp starts taking preorders from October 23rd," or "on the 23rd, stores start taking preorders nationally." On the 21st, I didn't see any store started taking preorders of Nintendo DSi in Akihabara, but Sofmap Main Branch was getting ready (?) for Nintendo DSi.

In Akihabara on the 21st, I didn't see any store started taking preorders of Nintendo DSi, but Sofmap Main Branch was getting ready (?) for Nintendo DSi. The store was creating spaces to put a panel and tickets to make preorders that I didn't see before (no tickets were available yet; not taking preorders on the 21st. DSi itself wasn't even there).

Nintendo DSi will be 2.6mm (0.1024 in) thinner than Nintendo DS Lite, but the screen becomes a bit bigger- 3.25in (from 3in). Making the body thinner, a cartridge for Game Boy Advance was removed. But a function of a camera with 300,000 pixels and Nintendo DSi camera that uses a SD memory card were added. It can be used as a music player too (by ITmedia)." Mainichi.jp guesses that about 300,000 DSi will be released on the release day.

When Sofmap started taking preorders for DS Lite at the store, the store stopped taking preorders in just one day, but what's gonna happen to DSi?
