As Akiba PC Hot Line and other websites have reported, stores in Akihabara started showing demo of SSD 80GB X25-M Mainstream made by Intel. On the 14th, Clevery Internet Branch also played demo by using HDD Benchmark Software. Yamada-kun became like Char and said "oh god! SSD of Intel is a spook, isn't it!"

On the 14th, Clevery Internet Branch also played demo by using HDD Benchmark Software such as "CrystalDiskMark" and "HD Tune." Yamada-kun became like Char and said "oh god! SSD of Intel is a spook, isn't it!"
Reading = 260MB/sec, random light = 77MB/sec-- really fast. The first SSD by Intel, SSDSA2SH080G1N, makes it possible to give such a speed to access by using NAND (MLC type) flash memory. On top of that, it uses less power and less heat. Attractiveness of this SSD surpasses any other products.

As you can see, reading one after another in X25-M is 252MB/sec. Reading by randomly is 172MB/sec. It's extremely fast. Imputing information is not as fast as reading, but still, it's good for SSD of MLC.
