"New PSP-3000 Coming Out in October!"
Sofmap AM Branch put POP of a new PSP, "PSP-3000." The store probably used the pre-release news by Sony Computer Entertainment. I couldn't find POP of PSP-3000 at any other store. PSP at Sofmap AM Branch was "New PSP-3000 Coming Out in October!" There was no information about when the store starts taking preorders, etc.

Sofmap AM Branch put POP of a new PSP, "PSP-3000." The store probably used the pre-release news by Sony Computer Entertainment. I couldn't find POP of PSP-3000 at any other store. PSP at Sofmap AM Branch was "New PSP-3000 Coming Out in October!" There was no information about when the store starts taking preorders, etc.
According to GameWatch, "the specialty of 'PSP-3000' is its improved display- wider color range, stronger contrast and faster reaction time (increased intensity and the number of colors could be displayed). Also, it's easier to view the LCD screen in natural light.
The main point of PSP-3000 is the enhanced LCD screen. When you compare PSP-2000 and PSP-3000, you can see the big difference. It's clear that the screen of PSP-3000 has better colors (especially the parts of primary colors). I even thought the number of colors increased.
PSP-2000 was released outside Japan first, and thus, a day before it was released in Japan, Hong Kong version of PSP-2000 was sold in Akihabara. So, what's gonna happen to the day PSP-3000 will be released? How about the day stores start taking preorders?
