If You Don’t Obey Police in Akihabara, This is What Happens
As I reported before, after “Stabbing Spree” happened in Akihabara, police were patrolling and questioning, having a nightstick in their hands. On the 14th (Saturday), there was a guy who had a camouflage-pattern bag was questioned by police. For having a multi-tool, police was gonna bring him to Manseibashi Police Dept. However, he didn’t obey police. Then, about 18 police officers and 4 police cars came- he made a fuss.

As I reported before, after “Stabbing Spree” happened in Akihabara, police were patrolling and questioning with a nightstick in their hands. On the 14th (Saturday), there was a guy who had a camouflage-pattern bag was questioned by police. He was right next to Club Sega.
For having a multi-tool, police was gonna bring him to Manseibashi Police Dept. However, he didn’t obey police, so about 18 police officers and 4 police cars came; he made a fuss.
I walked around and checked about the guy and police. They stayed there about one and half hours. Around 3:55pm, the guy was free at last. I heard police said “if he explained well, it wouldn't be like this!” One of the rubbernecks said “good job!”
Near the guy and police, there were reporters from Fuji TV, NHK, Newspapers?, Magazines?, and after police left, those Mass Media interviewed the guy. The young guy said “I didn’t like police being arrogant,” “when I measured a knife of multi-tool, it was 5.1cm, but when police officer measured, the police said it was 6.8cm,” etc. The knife was actually a dull. He even showed to Mass Media that the knife wasn’t cuttable.
Nevertheless, this young man not only had the multi-tool whose knife was a dull, but also big scissors in his bag. When we think about the “deadly accident” happened no long ago in Akiba, it was just normal for 18 police to come. Wasn’t the guy a “professional citizen” in order to play with police, was he? [*Professional Citizen = a person who acts for profit-making]
