"Girl Arms: Shojo Heiki" written by Zeco, a Taiwanese illustrator, was released on the 30th. It was published in Taiwan first, and now, the Japanese version has arrived.
According to its book's information (Japanese ver.), it's a book about the personification of Moe weapons. All the illustrations are colored, and cute weapon girls (Girl Arms) are in the book." A band of paper carrying a blurb placed over the dust cover says "weapons girls have arrived. Weapons that were used in WWII have become into Moe girls!? They are the ultimate humanized weapons!"
Girl Arms (Shojo Heiki) by Zeco introduces the harmony of tanks & airplanes that were used in World War II and bishojo (beautiful ladies). It's almost same as Mechanical girls by Fumikane Shimada that became into figures in December 2004.
According to Zeco's blog, originally, the book was released as doujinshi in 2006, and the summer of 2007, Friendly Lnad, a Taiwanese Publishing Company that has published doujinshi by Kei or POP, released it as a commercial book.
Hello everyone, I'm Zeco. This is my first commercial book whose theme is the World War II. There are energetic ladies from both the Allied powers and the Axis powers. I have many more that I would like to write, but now, I'm just happy to release this in Japan. (from afterword)
