The very next Sunday after the lady who showed her ass in Akiba was arrested (4/27), the number of mass media that came to Akiba reached the highest since 2004. I recognized Nippon TV, TBS, Fuji TV, TV Asahi, Yomiuri TV, and Tokyo MX. Each mass media gathered in Akiba, so whole TV cameras focused on the same happenings.

I recognized Nippon TV, TBS, Fuji TV, TV Asahi, Yomiuri TV, and Tokyo MX. In the past, some TV shows came to Akiba on the same day, but this was the first time to see many TV shows gathered in Akiba, so whole TV cameras focused on the same happenings.

Members of Mass Media said “we came here for our job! People who came here for fun did whatever they wanted to do. As I see, cameramen looked for happenings even though they were not recording, so actually, people from Mass Media bothered people.

On this day, what my eyes caught first was TV cameras. I asked myself, “how many of them were there?” I don’t know if they wanted to see what was going on after somebody was arrested on a vehicle-free street in Akiba or just looking for another happening.

I have no idea why those Mass Medias came to Akiba on the 27th, but a cameraman from Yomiuri TV said “we want a picture of playing music” while a reporter from Nippon TV said “how did other reporters (from other TV shows) interview people…?”
