TBS Anime Festa 2008: Waiting to Get a Ticket 2 Days Before Its Release (AkibaBlog)

TBS Anime Festa 2008 will be held on August 16th & 17th. Tickets for the Festa will be released on April 29th (Holiday in Japan), so some people were waiting from 2 days before its release. This time, there was no message of "do not wait on the street all night" by the website of the Festa.

TBS Anime Festa 2008 will be held on August 16th & 17th. Tickets for the Festa will be released on April 29th (Holiday in Japan), so some people were waiting from 2 days before its release.

TBS Anime Festa 2008 will be held on the same day as Comike Summer will be held- August 16th (Sat) & 17th (Sun). It's an event of anime. Its official website explains that "popular anime that have been showing on TBS or BS-i, and new anime that will be shown on TV in fall 2008 get together! New information or new pictures of each anime, talk shows, lives of opening & ending songs, etc many things will be going on." There are some voice actresses join to this event such as Shizuka Ito, Kikuko Inoue, Yuko Goto, Ryoko Shintani, Mai Nakahara, Kaori Mizuhashi, etc.

Among tickets that Animate sells, an event ticket for "Tennis no Oujisama" writes a warning not to wait all night on the street" but there is no message for this TBS Anime Festa 2008. People who were waiting on the street brought a nylon sheet or corrugated cardboard. Some were playing PSP while waiting. People who were the head of the line were different on the 27th & 28th, so probably, a group of people try to get the tickets together.

Unlike Animate Akihabara Branch, at Animate Oomiya Branch, nobody was lining up- it was because the store sells the ticket by lot. I don't know why each store sells differently.
