As I have reported before, a store in Akihabara uses characters' names of Mobile Suits Gundam such as Zaku or Gelgoog in order to explain the different kinds of Majikon, and another POP uses characters' names of Hokutono Ken (Ken, the Great Bear Fist) such as Kenshirou, Raoh, Jagi, or Amiba to explain the difference of the functions. However, since some customers do not know both Gundam and Hokutono Ken, the new POP uses different example for those customers. The store says "those customers usually look for well-known R4."

But these days, the new POP uses OS to explain the difference of some Majikon.

If we use Windows as an example, Majikon R4 is Win98: "the system is not new, but still, some computers are able to correspond to Win98. We can not expect correspondence in the future… Its efficiency is already old." Majikon M3R, AceKard, & DSTT would be explained as WinXP: the system is new, so it's easy to use compare to R4."

A staff at a store says "since some customers do not know both Gundam and Hokutono Ken, the new POP uses a metaphor of Windows (non-anime) to explain the difference." The store says "those customers usually look for well-known R4."

As I have reported about Game Bank on Majikon R4- Will Not Come Back, Majikon is no longer sold at Game Bank. On the website, Game Bank talks (March 22): "Majikon… on this occasion, we are gonna use a special word. Aren't we funny these days? Yes, it's because of the circumstances. The real reason is…yes, you have guessed it right." Nevertheless, in the last weekend, the store sold Majikon at the back door.
