Patrol by police, administrations, shops, etc in Akiba was started in order to stop doing street lives & performances on the 27th (Sunday). Co-medical Rock Band, Yamashita Sougou Byouin (Yamashita Hospital), did a performance, having a message " We Do Not Do Something Like Strip Shows," wearing nurses' and doctors' costumes.
On this day, police was on the vehicle-free street in Akiba as well as 6 TV stations, so just making a pose for a camera, in a second, police came to give a warning and TV cameras reported about it.
Since police was there all the time and a group of people were patrolling the vehicle-free street, there is no street live, to say nothing of cosplayers distributing handbills. So, mass media would not miss doctors' & nurses' cosplayers from Yamashita Sougou Byouin, At least, TV Asahi, Fuji TV, and TBS interviewed them.
A performance for normal people by Yamashita Sougou Byouin was stopped by police, but interviews done by mass media were not stopped by police, so reporters recorded as much as they wanted.
