On April 3rd, about 15 students of Oberlin University, who wore Haruhi costume, came to Akihabara in order to distribute handbills for their play on the stage that will be held on May. They also recorded Haruhi dance. They did the Haruhi dance on Chuo Street, an alley, and in front of Akihabara Station. On top of that, 5 of the students went in the telephone box and recorded the scenes of doing Haruhi dance.

On April 3rd, about 15 students of Oberlin University (Machida, Tokyo) came to Akihabara in order to distribute handbills for their play on the stage that will be held on May. Five of them wore Haruhi costume and did Haruhi dance.
They came to Akihabara to distribute handbills of a play on the stage by their group called " Banana Gakuen Jyunjo Otomegumi." They did the Haruhi dance on Chuo Street, an alley, and in front of Akihabara Station, and they record their dance on cameras. On top of that, 5 of the students went in the telephone box and recorded the scene of doing Haruhi dance.
I asked one of the students why they wore Haruhi costume, and she answered: "our play on the stage has a tight/strict image, but it's not true," "we are gonna do Haruhi dance so we wore Haruhi costume," "the story of our play is Akiba-like," "our imagination of Haruhi is the King of Akiba," etc.
On their blog, Banana Gakuen Jyunjo Otome Nikki, the students talk about the day they came to Akihabara: "we went to Akihabara together for the first time. This time, unlike before, we went the total of about 15 students. We had a ball. We think we came out of our shells in many ways."
Since Haruhi dance by those students from Oberlin University (Machida, Tokyo) was really short, so I didn't see any police.
