Police Maintains Strict Control; the Open Space in Front of Akihabara Station is Now Crowded
On the 6th (Sunday), police maintained strict control on the vehicle-free street in Akihabara: police stopped street lives as well as taking pictures. Maybe because of that, cameramen (including some low anglers) gathered at the open space in front of Akihabara Station to take pictures of girls who distributed handbills. Around under the clock, it was once hard to pass through.

Girls who Distributed Handbills Were Surrounded by People in Front of Akihabara Station In the Station Yard |
On the 6th (Sunday), police maintained strict control on the vehicle-free street in Akihabara: police stopped street lives as well as taking pictures.

I didn't see any street live on the 6th at vehicle-free street, but the side of Yodobashi (a store), people did street live as usual: when I went there before 4pm, there were 8 groups performed at the same time. According to Anataga-sukidesu-san, on the 6th, there were about 20 groups that did street live. Maybe Ita-chari and Ita-tansha could not park on the vehicle-free street on the 6th, they parked in front of Gamers Main Branch.
If police maintains strict control on the vehicle-free street… usually, they would not be in front of the station as well as in front of Yodobashi. Therefore, many people moved to in front of Yodobashi and did street lives. The crowd just moved from the vehicle-free street to other spots. Even though a vehicle-free street would be fine, this has not solved the problem, right?KKS-san (4/6/2008)
