An Event to Look for a Job in the Anime, Manga, and Game World

AkibaBlog

There was an event (called Raku-Job) to look for a job in the anime, manga and game world on the 9th, and there were about 20 companies participated in the event including Toranoana, Gonzo, Production IG, Hobby Japan, and Koudansha. When I saw the site after 3pm, the line of people continued from inside to the outside, and of course, there were so many people who wore suits. There were about 2,000 participants, and around the noon, this is how the line looked like.

Around the Noon, the Line Looked Like This

There was an event (called Raku-Job) to look for a job in the anime, manga and game world on the 9th. When I saw the site after 3pm, the line of people continued from inside to the outside, and of course, there were so many people who wore suits. The line was made by about 2,000 people, and around the noon, the line looked like this.

There were the total of 18 companies participated to Raku-Job including Toranoana, Gonzo, Production IG, Hobby Japan, Amiami, Koudansha, Toho Animation, Extreme, etc.

Originally, companies were guessing to have about a thousand participants, but there were about two thousand participants arrived at the site. Peperoncino-san says "I was just watching CM or CD of Jam on the screen of UDX (the site) for 3 hours while I was waiting…" Omoitattaga-Kititsu-san says "I went there at little after 3pm, and because of the long line, I finally entered to the site around 4pm." Since many people had to wait for a long time, there was even an apology from the event.

Looking at the map of the site, each company had almost the same size of a space, but companies that got more participants increased its space. After 3pm, Toranoana, Production IG, Gonzo, etc moved its booths. There were many participants who came from outside of Tokyo. One of the staff said "about 40% came from country side. There were some people who came from Kyoto, Kobe, and Yamaguchi."
