Demo Movie of "Ex Machina"

DVD "Ex Machina " (the movie was released on October 2007) was released on the 13th. There are 2 kinds of versions: a normal version and a premium edition version. The premium edition ver. comes with a set of HD DVD, a special disk, picture book, continuity, materials, etc.

Cinema Today says "Ex Machina is a high density (HD) animation made by director, Shinji Aramaki & the writer, Masamune Shirou. The stage of the story is near future: after the war, half of human beings have died, and another half of human beings, cyborgs, and bioloids (who were made by genes of humans) survive in one world. Ex Machina shows the lives of them with a novel image. Goo Anime introduces it: "this isn't a continuation of Appleseed. The original comic, Appleseed, by Masamune Shirou is the base of the story, but the story is completely new- it's about another world.

Asobit Game City writes, "the progressive form of Appleseed," & "the new experience of pictures for you!"

The producer of it is John Woo. A panel at Sofmap Main Branch writes "the principal, John Woo produced it!? Then, 2 guns on both hands, a pigeon, and slow-motion should be in the movie (well, be honest, I haven't watched his movie yet). Producer Aramaki said in his interview "so many scenes of 2 guns on both hands and pigeons appear."
