To celebrate the release of a magazine (on the 19th), Champion Red April Issue, Toranoana holds Champion Red Festival, and a message paper by Mr. Yasunori Ninose who is famous and particular about illustration of tentacles was in the magazine. The illustration that comes with Champion Red April Issue has been distributed for the first customers.

Champion Red, also known as "a laboratory of a red nuclear at Akita Bookstore, sets an age group of customers higher than other boy's magazines.
