AkibaBlog

English version of AkibaBlog is translated into English from its original AkibaBlog (in Japanese), which is really "hip" & "hot" now in Japan.

We try to update the blog as quick as possible; nevertheless, updates are done only weekdays. Articles written on weekends and holidays will be translated on the next week.

AkibaBlog is for people who love Akihabara. This blog is written and updated by Mr. Geek (pen name) and he talks about what is going on at Akihabara.

Unlike Akiba PC Hot Line, which talks about news about PC and its relations, AkibaBlog gives you information about stores, figures, comics, DVD, CD, magazines, cosplay, games, events, etc. Mr. Geek goes around Akihabara 360 days/year including New Year’s Day and Christmas.

As you can see, the main color of AkibaBlog is orange, which stems from Akiba PC Hot Line.

From March 2004 to September 2007, AkibaBlog got a total of more than 510-million page views page views.

In March 2007, this blog ranked one of the first among other Akihabara blogs, getting 20-million page views a month.

If you google "Akiba" in Katakana, AkibaBlog comes to #1, and if you type "Akihabara" in Kanji (Chinese character), our blog comes to #4.

The name of this blog, AkibaBlog (Akihabara Blog), comes mainly from 2 reasons: the owner of this blog goes to Akihabara at least 3 times a week and of course, he is Otaku, so he got "Akiba." And the owner thought "Blog" itself looks interesting to update, and "Blog" was hot in the beginning of 2004 while he was using "Livedoor Blog." Therefore, the owner named it as "AkibaBlog."

We try to update as frequently as we can; however, you may see the old information. On top of that, you may see some "mistakes" and/or "misunderstanding" (you may feel differently from how the owner feels). Please check the information about the price, the number of stocks, etc by yourself. The owner is not able to take any responsibility whatsoever for damage from using AkibaBlog. On September 9, 2005, AkibaBlog comes out from Livedoor and moved to akibablog.net.

Whenever you use the Link of AkibaBlog, you do not need to send me e-mail or something else to get my permission. About Track Back: if what you talk about is related to what AkibaBlog writes, feel free you to track back to AkibaBlog. If the owner sees the Track Back that is not related to what the owner writes in AkibaBlog at all, the owner will erase it, though.

However, in akibablog.net, in order to deal with the Spam of Track Back, if the original Track Back URL doesn't have a link of AkibaBlog (not the ones in Livedoor), the owner refuses to put Track Back.

About the Track Back the owner gets, under Weblog Kotonoha, or some circumstance, the owner may erase it.
